الشعب السوداني الصامد الصابر البطل
في اطار جهودي المتواصلة للعمل من اجل وقف الحرب في البلاد والتواصل مع الفاعلين الدوليين في المحيط الاقليمي والمجتمع الدولي لحثهم بالعمل بفعالية والتنسيق من اجل انجاح جهود السلام في السودان، تحدثت بشكل منفصل مع كل من السيد موسى فكي رئيس مفوضية الاتحاد الافريقي، والسيد فولكر بيرتس الممثل الخاص للامين العام للأمم المتحدة في السودان، والسيد تورستن هوتر رئيس قسم شرق افريقيا والقرن الافريقي بوزارة الخارجية الالمانية.
تناول نقاشي مع كل من المذكورين الاوضاع في السودان وكيفية العمل على حل الأزمة وإنهاء الاقتتال الذي لا يزال دائراً حتى اليوم في العاصمة الخرطوم وولاية شمال كردفان ومناطق مختلفة من اقليم دارفور، وقد اوضحت لهم بان الحلول الشكلية لن تفلح في معالجة القضية وانه قد يكون لها آثار سلبية بالغة الخطورة على المدنيين تتمثل في خلق حالة زائفة بالأمان وتدفع الي تراخي الجهود الدولية من اجل معالجة الازمة وايقاف الحرب وايصال المساعدات الانسانية. وقد أوضحت خلال اتصالاتي المختلفة مع السادة المذكورين ان الاولوية الان هي لايقاف الحرب في المقام الاول واستعادة الأمن والأمان للمواطنين وضمان حماية المدنيين وايصال المساعدات الانسانية، وليس للحديث عن اي عملية سياسية او نقاشات حول السلطة في الوقت الراهن.
وناقشت مع السادة المذكورين انه من أجل الوصول الي هذا الهدف والاولوية العاجلة، فان الوضع في السودان يحتاج الي عملية سلام جادة، مبنية على تحليل حقيقي للواقع السوداني، وان تتم داخل البيت الافريقي تحت مظلة الألية الرئاسية التي كونتها الايقاد من رؤساء دول جنوب السودان وكينيا وجيبوتي وبمشاركة الاتحاد الإفريقي والأمم المتحدة وكافة الشركاء المهمومين بالسلام في السودان لتقديم الدعم التقني والسياسي اللازم، ودعوت ايضاً الي توحيد كافة المبادرات المطروحة مثل مخرجات الدورة الوزارية الخاصة بالشان السوداني بالإتحاد الإفريقي والتي إنعقدت في 20 أبريل المنصرم، والمبادرة الأمريكية السعودية، ومبادرة الإيقاد ، ومبادرات داخلية من شخصيات سودانية، وذلك لتجنب تعدد المنابر والمبادرات في المستقبل والتي قد تؤثر سلباً علي العملية السلمية.
وكما شددت في حديثي مع السادة المذكورين على ضرورة الإسراع والتعجيل ببدء عملية فاعلة للإغاثة الإنسانية للسودانيين العالقين في مناطق الحرب والنازحين في شتى أنحاء البلاد واللاجئين الي دول الجوار. ان التراخي في تخفيف الآثار الكارثية للحرب على المواطنين هو امر غير مقبول، وانني سأظل اسخر كافة ما املك من قدرات وعلاقات للعمل على تخفيف أثار هذه الحرب على بنات وابناء شعبنا.

ساستمر في اطلاع الرأي العام السوداني بصورة راتبة بكافة التحركات والاتصالات التي اجريها في سياق الدفع باتجاه انهاء الحرب وأُوجه رسالتي الي كافة القوى السياسية؛ الرفاق في الجبهة الثورية، والاحزاب السياسية الوطنية ومنظمات المجتمع المدني ولجان المقاومة والمتطوعين الابطال وكافة المواطنين السودانيين، بان ايقاف الحرب باعجل ما يمكن وقبل ان تتسبب في مزيد من الدمار والخراب في بلادنا هو الهدف الذي ينبغي ان يوحدنا جميعاً في هذا الوقت الحرج من تاريخ بلادنا وقد اكدت في اتصالاتي مع القوى السياسية المختلفة على ضرورة ان نضع مصلحة السودان اولا نصب اعيننا وانني ساعمل مع الجميع وامد يدي للجميع لتنسيق الجهود من اجل عودة السلام والاستقرار الي ربوع بلادنا الحبيب.

Press Release from the Vice President of the Sudanese Transitional Sovereignty Council
Our steadfast, patient and heroic Sudanese people
As part of my continuous efforts to work to stop the war in the country and communicate with international actors in the regional and the international community to urge them to work effectively and coordinate for a successful peace efforts in Sudan, I spoke separately with Mr. Musa Faki, Chairman of the African Union Commission, Mr. Volker Perethes, Special Representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations, and Mr. Thorsten Hutter, the Head of the East Africa and Horn of Africa Department at the German Foreign Ministry.
My discussion with the above mentioned gentlemen addressed the situation in Sudan and how to work to resolve the crisis and end the fighting that is still taking place today in the capital Khartoum, North Kordufan State and various areas of the Darfur Region. I explained to them that optical solutions will not succeed in addressing the crisis and that it may have very serious negative effects on civilians, represented in creating a false state of security and pushing for relaxing the international efforts to address the crisis, stop the war and deliver humanitarian aid.
During my various conversations with the aforementioned gentlemen, I explained that the priority now is to stop the war in the first place, restore security and safety to citizens, ensure the protection of civilians and deliver humanitarian aid. It is no time to discuss any political process or discussions about power sharing at the moment.
I also discussed with the aforementioned gentlemen that in order to reach this goal and urgent priority, the situation in Sudan needs a serious peace process, based on a real analysis of the reality in Sudan. This process should take place within the African House and under the umbrella of the presidential mechanism formed by the heads of state of South Sudan, Kenya and Djibouti and with the participation of the African Union, the United Nations and all partners that are concerned with peace in Sudan to provide the necessary technical and political support. I also called for the unification of all the initiatives proposed, such as the outputs of the ministerial session regarding the Sudanese situation in the African Union, which was held on April 20, the US-Saudi initiative, the IGAD initiative, and internal initiatives of Sudanese personalities, in order to avoid the multiplicity of platforms and initiatives, which may negatively affect the peace process.
I also stressed in my conversation with the aforementioned gentlemen the need to speed up and accelerate the initiating of an effective humanitarian relief operation for the Sudanese stranded in war zones, displaced people throughout the country and refugees to neighboring countries. Delay in mitigating the catastrophic effects of the war on citizens is unacceptable, and I will continue to harness all my abilities and relationships to work to mitigate the effects of this war on the daughters and sons of our people.

I will continue to inform the Sudanese public opinion in a regular manner of all the movements and contacts I make in the context of pushing towards ending the war. I direct my message to all political forces; comrades in the Revolutionary Front, national political parties, civil society organizations, resistance committees, the heroic volunteers and all Sudanese citizens, that stopping war as soon as possible and before it causes further destruction and misery is goal that should unite us all at this point of time. In my contacts with the various political forces, I stressed the need to put the interest of Sudan first and foremost and that I will work with everyone and extend my hand to everyone to coordinate efforts for the return of peace and stability throughout our beloved country.
