تابعت القوات المسلحة الاعتداء الغاشم من قبل مليشيا الدعم السريع المتمردة المحلولة على مقر بعثة السفارة الإثيوبية بالخرطوم، واتباع ذلك ببيان بائس في محاولة لإلصاق جريمتها النكراء بالقوات المسلحة.
توضح القوات المسلحة حرصها منذ بداية هذه الحرب الدائرة على مراعاة القانون الدولي الإنساني والحرص علي سلامةالأعيان المحمية بما فيها مقار البعثات الدبلوماسية المعتمدة بالبلاد، بعكس المليشيا المتمردة التي لم تتورع منذ الأيام الأولى لتمردها المشئوم عن استهداف كافة المقرات الدبلوماسية بالخرطوم ونهب ممتلكاتها والاعتداء علي منسوبيها (وبعض هذه الحالات سارعوا إلي توثيقها بأنفسهم).
تدين القوات المسلحة بأشد العبارات هذا الاعتداء الغاشم علي مقر البعثة، وتبدي بالغ أسفها على هذا الاعتداء الغاشم.

The armed forces has noted the treacherous attack by the dissolved Rapid Support Forces rebel militia on the headquarters of the Ethiopian embassy in Khartoum, followed by a desperate statement in an attempt to pin their crime on the armed forces.
The armed forces clarifies its caution since the start of the war to observe international humanitarian law and the safety of protected facilities, including headquarters of approved diplomatic missions in the country in contrary to the rebel militia which has not hesitated from the first days of its doomed rebellion to target all diplomatic headquarters in Khartoum and rob their assets and assault their staff (in some cases they rushed to document the attacks themselves).
The armed forces condemns in the strongest terms the treacherous attack on the the headquarters of the mission and expresses its regret on the attack.
